देवव्रत बतौर मुख्य अतिथि पहुंचे जबकि कृषि मन्त्री वीरेंद्र कंवर भी सम्मेलन में शामिल हुए. सम्मेलन में किसानों के सम्मान के साथ-साथ हिमाचल व गुजरात दोनो के सांझे प्रयास से प्राकृतिक खेती को बढ़ावा देने की रणनीति बनाई गई। हिमाचल व गुजरात के किसान एक दूसरे के प्रदेशों में जाकर अपने अनुभव साँझा करेंगे.
2018 से हिमाचल में 1 लाख 71 हज़ार किसान बागवान प्राकृतिक खेती कर रहे हैं. हिमाचल में प्राकृतिक खेती की शुरुआत आचार्य देवव्रत ने ही की थी. जो अब हिमाचल की दस हज़ार हेक्टेयर भूमि पर की जा रही है. आचार्य देवव्रत ने कहा प्राकृतिक खेती में कीटनाशकों का बिलकुल इस्तेमाल नही किया जाता है. सिर्फ प्रकृति व पशुधन के मलमूत्र से बनी खादों का इस्तेमाल किया जाता है. जिससे फसलों का उत्पादन भी बढ़ रहा है साथ इन फसलों से उत्पन्न होने वाले खाद्य पदार्थो से शरीर पर कोई दुष्प्रभाव भी नही पड़ता है. उन्होंने बताया की प्राकृतिक खेती से 24 फीसदी ग्लोबल बर्मिंग कम होती है. कैंसर जैसी बीमारियों से निजात मिलती है.
